CASE NO. 11-125831.-In The Matter of the Petition of HUANG KEJUN @ UY Ko HON to be Admitted a Citizen of the Philippines.
HUANG KEJUN @ UY KO HON, Petitioner
A verified petition to acquire Philippine citizenship has been filed by HUANG KEJUN @UY KO HON in accordance with the provisions of Commonwealth Act No. 473, as amended.
Petitioner alleges that his full name is HUANG KEJUN and is also known to his friends as Uy Ko HON. He is presently UY residing at 2230 Banag At Sikat Street, San Rafael, Balut, Tondo, Manila. His former places of residence were at 225 Encarnacion Street, Barangay San Rafael Village, Navotas City; F. Manalo Street, San Juan, Metro Manila; and at 1109 Ylaya Street, 802 Solis Building, Tondo, Manila.
He was born on January 22, 1979, in Fujian Province, People's Republic of China, and is at present a citizen of China under whose laws Filipinos may become
naturalized citizens thereof. He first arrived in the Philippines last June 10, 1997, via Philippine Airlines Flight PR335 debarking at the Ninoy International Airport, Parañaque City. He married Malou Chua Go, a Chinese Citizen, on March 24, 2002, and they have three children, namely: Huang Rong Zhi @Nixon Uy, who was born on December 16, 2004; Huang Ming Jie @ Jerickson Go Uy, who was born on October 16, 2006; Huang Ming Shun @ Jerwin Go Uy, who was born on April 14, 2007.
He has continuously resided in the Philippines for at least a period of ten (10) years immediately preceding the filing of this petition. He can speak and write in Pilipino and English. He is a Marketing Manager by profession and derives a decent income therefrom, enough to support himself and his family.
He believes in the principles underlying the Philippine Constitution; has conducted himself in a proper and irreproachable manner during the entire period of his residence in the Philippines in his relations with the constituted government as well as with the community in which he lives. He has mingled socially with Filipinos, and has evinced a genuine desire to learn and embrace the customs, traditions and ideas of the Filipinos. He has the qualification required under Section 2, and none of the disqualifications under Section 4 of Commonwealth Act No. 473. He is not opposed to organized government nor affiliated with any association or group of persons who uphold and teach doctrines opposing all organized government. He does not defend or teach the necessity or propriety of violence, personal assault or assassination for the success and predominance of his ideas. He is not a polygamist nor does he believe in the practice of polygamy. He has never been
convicted of any crime involving moral turpitude. He is not suffering from any mental alienation or incurable contagious disease. He is not a citizen or subject of a nation that is at war with the Philippines. It is his intention in good faith to become a citizen of the Philippines and to renounce absolutely and forever all allegiance and fidelity to any foreign state or sovereignty, and, particularly to China, of which at this time he is a citizen. He will reside continuously in the Philippines from the date of filing of this petition up to the time of his admission to Philippine citizenship. He has not heretofore made petition for citizenship to any court.
Finding the petition to be sufficient in form and substance, notice is hereby given that said petition is set for hearing before this. Court at its Session hall, 2nd Floor, Bulwagan ng Katarungan, A. Villegas Street, Ermita, Manila on May 15, 2012, at 8:30 a.m., at which date and time, any person who has objection to the Petition may appear and register his/her opposition thereto.
Pursuant to the requirements of the law, let a copy of this Order and the attached petition together with the petitioner's picture be published once a week for three (3) consecutive weeks in the Official Gazette and in a newspaper of general circulation in Metro Manila to which the same may be raffled. Likewise, let a copy of petition with its annexes and this Order be posted in the Bulletin Board of the Office of the Clerk of Court, Regional Trial Court, City Hall, Manila.
Let a copy of this Order with the Petition and the Annexes be served upon the Office of the Solicitor General by the Deputy Sheriff of this Branch.
