Al sintetizar, pues, la Historia de Córdoba, nos serviremos preferentemente delo que hallamos con signado en los Archivos públicos, sin desestimar por esto las afirmaciones razonables de escritores tan ilustrados como Techo, Guevara, Ulloa, Del Barco, Morelli, Lozano, i otros, en todo aquello á cerca de lo cual no hayamos encontrado documentos en los Archivos. I aún respecto de estos, haremos notar al gunas veces las inexactitudes en que han incurrido por incompletas ó vagas informaciones, que no pueden, ni deben aceptarse como elementos históricos.
