Last but not least and on time today, we have the Department of Employment Services, and we have with us Alexis Roberson, the Director. The Department of Employment Services is requesting $39,072,000 and 235 positions for fiscal year 1988, a net increase of $4,560,000 and 32 positions above the fiscal year 1987 appropriation level. Almost 40 percent of the funding for this Department is in the form of Federal grants which are expected to total $29.6 million in fiscal year 1988. I believe your gross budget for fiscal year 1988 totals $75.2 million and 793 positions. THE AGENCY WILL ENROLL OVER 42,800 PERSONS IN EMPLOYMENT AND TRAINING PROGRAMS.
