The first volume of this work, a long time out of print, it is not deemed to be so necessary to reproduce, not being essentially connected with the history of the Denomination. It is a source of grateful satisfaction to me that the generous and faithful friends who, from the first, lent their co-operation, have continued true and earnest in their support to the present-their confidence undiminished, and their appreciation of the service rendered, heightened rather than changed.
