Two persons who guranteed Cho's expenses in the United States, were Song Hah Soon, $7 Suhrian-Dong, ChongnoKu, Seoul, Korea. He was born on January 3, 1915, in Seoul, Korea, and was manager of the Chongno Eranch of the Seoul bani:.

File Number A13 839 333, pertaining to Cho Sung Mi, Apartment 19, 170 Claremont Avenue, New York City. By letter to INS, New York City, dated November 18, 1963, she indicated that she was a student of the Juilliard School of Music in New York City. She stated that she was single. DOB 5-24ÀL·

The file contained the affidavit of support from SYLVIA MLUNG SCON LIM OH, RED #1, Box 244, Edgewater, Maryland, who was naturalized in the United States District Court in Maryland on November 12, 1959, and who has certificate 2057378.

File Number All 932 049, pertaining to Kwan Do Xim, 170 Claremont Avenue, New York City, indicated that as or January 25, 1961, he was residing at 224 Cordell Hall, Oklahoma State University, Stillwater, Oklahoma, and was a student in architecture.

The file reflected an affidavit of support from one Tai Suk Kim, who was born August 29, 1931, in Pyongyang, Korea, and who is sales manager of Sansung Salt Manufacturers. The other was LAWRENCE A. LEE, and his wife, MARÝ ANN\£2 who reside at 903 South 7th Street, Ponca City, Oklahoma. He is employed by Continental Oil Company, Ponca City.

As of June 23, 1964, Kim was employed by Greenberg and Ames Architects and Engineers, 303 Park Avenue, New York City.

Reference is made to previous communications

in the captioned matter, the latest of thich was the
report of Special Agent Charles Wehrle dated February 25,
1966, at New York, New York. Information which may also
be of interest to you in this matter is contained in the
report of Special Agent. Gerald B. Nolan dated February 8,
1966, at Washington, D. C., captioned "Donald Lane Hiller,
Registration Act Korea, a copy of which was furnished

It was noted in previous communications in this
matter that although Dr. Vinocour has dealt with Korean
representatives on the matter of a fund-raising campaign
for the proposed Freedon Center in Korea and he has
submitted a proposal as to how such a campaign would be
handled, he has come to no agreement with them. He has
indicated he will not conduct such a campaign or represent
the Korean Freedom Center without a contract to do so, Ile
has indicated willingness to register under the provisions
of the Foreign Agents Registration Act of 1938, as amended,
if a satisfactory agreement is ever reached. In view of
this information, no further investigation is being
conducted in this matter in the absence of a specific
request from you.

NOTE:

Department requested Registration Act investigation of Dr. Vinocour in connection with reported plans to act as public relations counsel to the Korean Government and an anticommunist group in Korea with regard to a campaign to raise funds in this country for construction of a Freedom Center in Seoul, Korea. As noted above, investigation has disclosed he is not acting in any capacity representing the Koreans and will not without a contract.
