This collection contains text editions, translations, and original articles relating to the Far East. Most of the works were published, simultaneously, one or a few sheets at a time. Each volume contains therefore several sheets of several works; each work has its pagination of its own [on the top of the page], but besides all sheets are numbered consecutively [at the bottom of the first page of every sheet] in the chronological order of their publication. Vol. I contains sheets 1-38; vol. II sheets 39-81; vol. III sheets 82-142; vol. IV sheets 143-187; the figures in the following list of contents refer to the number of the sheets, and not to that of the separate pagination of each work.
