drawn by three Horfes, Mares, Geldings, or other Cattle, Fourpence; and drawn by four Horses, Mares, Geldings, or other Cattle, Six-pence; and drawn by five or more Horfes, Mares, Geldings, or other Cattle, Nine-pence:

For every Horfe, Maré, Gelding, Mule, or Afs, laden, or unladen, and not drawing, One Penny.

For every Drove of Oxen or Neat Cattle, Ten-pence per Score; and fo in proportion for any greater or lefs Number:

For every Drove of Calves, Hogs, Sheep, or Lambs, Five-pence per Score; and fo in proportion for any greater or lefs Number.

Which faid refpective Sums of Tolls Money fhall be demanded and ta- levied. ken in the Name of or as a Toll or Duty; and if any Perfon or Perfons, fubject to the Payment of any of the faid Tolls, fhall, after Demand thereof made, neglect or refufe to pay the fame or any part thereof, it fhall be lawful for the Collector or Collectors appointed by the faid C 2 Trustees

Trustees of the faid respective Diftricts, or any five or more of them, to seize and diftrain any Horfe for Horfes or other Cattle, or any Goods or Carriage upon which fuch Toll is by this Act impofed, or any of the Goods or Chattels of fuch Perfon or Perfons fo neglecting or refufing to pay the fame; and if fuch Tolls and the reasonable Charges of fuch Seizure and Diftrefs shall not be paid within the Space of four Days after fuch Seizure and Diftrefs made, the Perfon or Per fons fo feizing and diftraining fhall and may fell the Horfe or Horses, Cattle, Carriages, Goods, or Chattels fo feized and diftrained, returning the Overplus (if any be): upon Demand to the Owner thereof, after fuch Tolls and the reasonable Charges occafioned by fuch Seizure, Distress, and Sale shall be deducted; and all the Tolls of the faid refpective Districts collected or levied by Tolls vefted virtue of this Act fhall be, and are in Trustees. hereby vested in the said Trustees of the faid refpective Districts, and

either of the faid Districts any of the Coaches or Carriages of their Majefties, or of their Royal Highneffes the Prince of Wales, the Princess Dowager of Wales, or any other of the Royal Family; or any of the Horfes of his Majefty's Guards, or any of the Servants attending their Majefties, the Prince of Wales, the Princess Dowager of Wales, or any other of the Royal Family; or any Post-horse carrying the Mail or Pacquet; or any fuch Horfe as is or shall be used only to ride on by the Owners or Drivers of any Waggon, Cart, or Carriage, who fhall pafs at the fame time with fuch Waggon, Cart, or Carriage through any of the faid Turn

pikes or the Horfes of Soldiers, or Militia Men, or Officers on their March, or the Carts, Waggons, or Carriages attending them, and laden with their Arms or Baggage; or any Horses, Carts, or Carriages travelling with Vagrants under the Authority of legal Paffes; or the Carriages or Horfes of any Perfon

or Perfons refident in the faid Parishes of Isleworth, Twickenham, and Tedington, who fhall pass through any of the faid Turnpikes in those Parishes on Sundays to or from the refpective Parish Churches thereof for the Purpose of attending Divine Service; or any Carriages or Horfes attending the Funeral of any Person who shall die and be interred in either of those Parifhes; or any Waggon, Cart, or other Carriage laden with Gravel or other Materials for amending the faid Highways, or the Highways in any of the adjacent Parishes; or with Dung, Mould, or Compost of any Kind for the manuring of Land or Garden Ground; or with Corn
