In October 1902 Viscount Morley of Blackburn presented to the University the library of the late Lord Acton, Regius Professor of Modern History. A full catalogue of this collection of nearly 60,000 volumes is in preparation; but it was thought that it might prove useful to issue during the progress of the work bulletins of some specially interesting sections of the library.
