AMENDED ORDER

In his verified petition dated March 19, 2013, petitioner Hsiang Yu Chan prayed to be admitted as a citizen of the Republic of the Philippines pursuant to the revised Naturalization Law. He alleged that he was born or March 15, 1982 in Taoyuan City, Taiwan. Since 1994, he has been residing at No. 152 A. Raymundo St., Sta. Rosa I, Marilao, Bulacan. Petitioner will present Christopher Herros Chen, of legal age, single, resident of No. 92 Talayan Street, Talayan Village, Quezon City and Ramon Paolo Dizon Lozano, of legal age, residing

at No. 2 Anahao Street, Valle Verde 4, Pasig City who are both Filipinos, in support of his petition.

Finding the petition to be sufficient in form and substance, SET the same for initial hearing of February 24, 2014 at 8:30 AM.

The Director of the National Bureau of Investigation (NBI) is hereby DIRECTED to conduct a background investigation of the said petitioner, his known addresses and his witnesses and to submit a report and recommendation thereon not later than five (5) days prior to the above-stated initial hearing.

Further, let the said petition and this Order be published in their full text in the Official Gazette and in a newspaper of general circulation in the province of Bulacan for three consecutive issues; be posted in the City Hall of Malolos, Municipal Hall of Marilao and of this Court; and be furnished the Office of the Solicitor General, all at the expense of the petitioner.

Any person who may have interest or is opposed to the instant petition may file in writing his comment and/or opposition thereto or may come and appear in person during the hearing and show cause why the petition should not be granted.
