ORDER

A verified Petition for Naturalization was filed by petitioner, Yang Yun-Chia, subscribed before Atty. Juneth A. Rentuma praying that after due notice, publication and hearing, judgment be rendered in favor of the petitioner for her to be admitted as citizen of the Republic of the Philippines.

Finding the petition sufficient in form and substance, set the same for initial hearing on January 29, 2014 at 9:00 o'clock in the morning, before this Court, located at the 3rd Floor, CJ Fernan Memorial Hall of Justice, Capitol Site, Cebu City, at which date, time and place designated, all persons who may have interest in the petition may

appear and show cause, if any, why this petition should be granted and/or contest the same.

The Branch Clerk of Court is hereby directed to issue a Notice of Hearing of said petition which must be published at the expense of the petitioner once a week for three (3) consecutive weeks in the Official Gazette, and in a newspaper of general circulation in the Cities and Province of Cebu, to be determined by raffle, and to have copies of the said petition and notice of hearing posted at the main entrance of the Cebu City Hall, at the Main entrance of the Capitol Building, at the Carbon Public Market, and at the Barangay Hall of the place where the petitioner is presently residing. The last publication and the posting of notice must be at least six (6) months prior to the date set for initial hearing. Said notice must comply with the provisions of Section 9, Commonwealth Act No. 473, as amended.

Also let copies of the Notice of Hearing be furnished the Hon. Solicitor General, Hon. Executive Secretary, Hon. Secretary of Justice, Director, National Bureau of Investigation, Director, National Printing Office, Cebu City Police Office, Provincial Commander, Cebu Provincial Police Office, petitioner and her counsel for their information and guidance.

Whereas, a petition to admit Yang YunChia (also known as Nina Yang) as citizen of the Republic of the Philippines, pursuant to Commonwealth Act No. 473, as amended, has been filed with this Court by Yang Yun-Chia, which is hereby quoted in full as follows:

PETITION

Petitioner Yang Yun-Chia (also known as Nina Yang), through the undersigned counsel and unto this Honorable Court most respectfully states that:

1. In compliance with Section 5 of Commonwealth Act No. 473, petitioner has made a declaration of her bona fide intention to become a citizen of the Republic of the Philippines and filed the same with the Office of the Solicitor General (OSG) on March 01, 2012. The original copy of the Declaration of Intention duly stamped "received" by the OSG is hereto attached as Annex "A" and made an intergral part hereof;

2. Petitioner's full name is YANG YUNCHIA, also known as NINA YANG. She is presently residing at No. 30 King's Road South, Doña Rita Village, Talamban, Cebu City. His last foreign residence is TAIWAN;

3. Petitioner is single and is 25 years old at the time of filling of the instant case, being born on March 15, 1988 in Taiwan. The country to which she last held allegiance to is Taiwan. Attached as ANNEX "B" herewith are Petitioner's two (2) passport photos and made an integral part hereof;

4. In April 18, 2010, the Petitioner graduated with a degree of Bachelor of Science in Medical Technology in Velez College. In the said school, she learn about the Philippine History/Government and Constitution and the Life and Works of Rizal as part of their curriculum. Attached hereto is the Official Transcripts of Records of the Petitioner from the Velez College marked as ANNEX "C" and made integral part hereof;

5. In her pursuit to have a Profession that will allow her to better serve the Filipinos, she enrolled in the Cebu Institute of Medicine to take up Medicine;

6. Petitioner entered the Philippines on or about the 15th day of May 1995. She arrived at the Mactan Cebu International Airport via flight number PR897 as shown by a certification issued by the Bureau of Immigration dated 20 December 2011. Copy of the above-mentioned certification is hereto attached as ANNEX "D" and made an integral part hereof;

7. Petitioner is a bona fide holder of Alien Certificate of Registration (ACR) No. F0000160916 issued by the Bureau of Immigration on 23 January 2013 and valid until 15 June 2013.
