Mr. EAGLETON (by request) introduced the following bill; which was read twice and referred to the Committee on the District of Columbia

A BILL

To authorize the government of the District of Columbia to fix certain fees.

Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives 2 of the United States of America in Congress assembled, 3 That the District of Columbia Council is authorized and em4 powered to fix, from time to time, in accordance with section 5 2 of this Act, the fees authorized to be charged by the fol6 lowing Acts or parts of Acts:

7 (1) Section 2 of the Act entitled "An Act to regulate 8 the erection, hanging, placing, painting, display, and main9 tenance of outdoor signs and other forms of exterior adver10 tising within the District of Columbia", approved March 3, 11 1931 (46 Stat. 1486; D.C. Code, sec. 1–232).

(2) Sections 571, 586a, 753, and 754 of the Act en

2 titled "An Act to establish a code of law for the District of

3 Columbia", approved March 3, 1901 (31 Stat. 1280, 1282,
