Whereas, a verified petition to be admitted a citizen of the Republic of the Philippines and to be conferred Philippine citizenship was filed by Bin Sun Chua Lim, pursuant to the Naturalization Law (Commonwealth Act No. 473, as amended), and docketed before this branch of the Court.

Whereas, petitioner Bin Sun Chua Lim alleges among other things, that he is a Chinese, 48 years old, and was born on September 3, 1962, at the University of Sto. Tomas Hospital in Sampaloc, Manila, Philippines; that his parents are Lim Hong and Rosita Chua Lim who are both Chinese; that he continuously resided and lived in the Philippines since his birth; that he is now resident of No. 28 Magnolia Lane Town and country Gardenville, Project 8, Quezon City; that he was issued an Alien Certificate of Registration No. F0000016407 by the Republic of the Philippines; that he is married to Cherilyn Herrera Carag, a Filipino citizen, with whom he has three (3) children, namely:

a Declaration of Intention to become a citizen of the Philippines, pursuant to Section 6 of Commonwealth Act No. 473, as amended, because he was born in the Philippines and studied in schools recognized by the Philippine Government where Philippine History, Government and Culture are taught; that he is a person of good moral character, and has conducted himself in a proper and irreproachable manner during the entire period of his residence in the Philippines in his relation with the constituted government, as well in the community in which he is living; that he believes in the principles underlying the Philippine Constitution; that he has mingled socially with the Filipinos and has evinced a sincere desire to learn and embrace the customs, traditions and ideals of the Filipino people; that he is not opposed to organized government or affiliated with any association or group of persons who uphold and teach doctrines opposing all organized governments; that he is not teaching or defending the propriety of violence, personal assault or assassination for success or predominance of men's ideas; that he is not polygamist or a believer in the practice of polygamy; that he has not been convicted of any crime involving moral turpitude; that he is not suffering from any incurable or contagious disease, or from mental alienation; that he is not a citizen of any country in which the Philippines is at war; that he has all the qualifications provided under Section 2 and none of the disqualifications under Section 4 of Commonwealth Act No. 473, as amended;

that it is his intention, in good faith, to become a citizen of the Philippines; and that he will reside continuously in the Philippines from the time of the filing of this petition up to the time of his admission as citizen of the Philippines.

Whereas, notice is hereby given that the said petition will be heard by this branch of the Court on August 27, 2013, at 8:30 o'clock in the morning, before this Court, sitting at the Basement, Quezon City Hall of Justice, Quezon City, Metro Manila, Philippines.

Whereas, as ordered by the Court this Notice will be published in the Official Gazette and in a newspaper of general circulation at the expense of the petitioner, once a week for three (3) consecutive weeks, the last publication to be made at least six (6) months before the date of hearing.

Whereas, a copy of the Order, dated August 18, 2011, and this Notice of hearing will also be posted in a conspicuous place at the bulletin boards of (1) the Quezon City Hall; (2) the Quezon City Hall of Justice; and (3) this Court.

Whereas, you are hereby given notice that said petition is set for hearing on March 14, 2013 at 1:30 o'clock in the afternoon, at which date and time, all persons interested should appear and file opposition, if any.

Let a copy of this Notice of Hearing be published in the Official Gazette for two (2) consecutive weeks at least thirty days (30) before the date of hearing at the expense of the petitioners. Let copies thereof be also posted at the main entrance of the Provincial Building of Bataan in the Bulletin Board of this Court, and in the Municipal Building of Abucay, Bataan.
