Boards, Atomic Safety and Licensing Boards, Board of Contract Appeals, and the Contract Astment Board and covers the period from Jan. 1, 1973, to Dec 31, 1973. Ta volume is made up of reprinted pages from the twelve 1973 monthly issues of the Atomic Energy Commission, publication Regulatory Adjudication Issuances (RAI), arranged in chronological order. Cross references in the text are to RAI page numbers which are the same as the page numbers in this publication. Also included as an index for the 12-month period. The Board of Contract Appeals and Contract Atrastment Board (BCA) material, for this 12-month period, was reprinted from the AEC publication Ixuances of the Board of Contract Appeals, July 1972 December 1973 (TID-26470), and renumbered to four consecutively the RA/ material. A separate index for the BCA issuances is included. Issuances are referred to as follows Commission CLI, Atomic Safety and Licensing Appeal AL AB the Atomic Safety and Licensing Boards LBP, and the Board of Contract Appeas BCA During the period covered by this volume of the AEC Reports, the case load of the Atomic Safety and Long Board Panel increased from 30 to 60, and Panel membership increased from 65 to 72. Boards named 20 initial decisions, 16 of which involved contested proceedings. Six operating-license proceedings were terminated when intervening parties withdrew.
