Cap. 1. For continuing the duties upon malt, mum, cyder, and perry, in that part of Great Britain called England; and for granting to his Majefty certain duties upon malt, mum, cyder, and perry, in that part of Great Britain called Scotland, for the service of the year one thousand feven hundred and thirty four; and for making forth duplicates of exchequer bills, lottery tickets, and orders, loft, burnt, or otherwife destroyed. Cap. 2. For punishing mutiny and defertion; and for the better pay

ment of the army and their quarters, Cap. 3. For exhibiting a bill in this prefent parliament, for naturalizing his highness the prince of Orange. Cap. 4. For naturalizing the most ferene prince William Charles Henry Frifo, prince of Orange and Naffau. Cap. 5. For enlarging the term and powers granted by an act paffed in the fixth year of the reign of his late majesty King George the First, intituled, An act for laying a duty of two pennies Scots, or one fixth part of a penny sterling, upon every pint of ale or beer that shall be vended or fold within the town of Montrofe, and privileges thereof, for supplying the faid town with fresh water, and for other purpofes therein mentioned. For granting and continuing the duties upon falt, and upon red and white herrings, for the further term of seven years; and for licenfing the erecting new refineriesof rock falt in the counties of Effex and Suffolk.

Cap. 7. For granting an aid to his Majefty by a land-tax, to be raised in Great Britain, for the fervice of the year one thousand seven hundred and thirty four.

Cap. 8. To prevent the infamous practice of ftock-jobbing. Cap. 9. To explain and make more effectual the laws in being, to oblige the poffeffors of lands adjacent to common highways, to cut and keep low fuch hedges as are adjoining to the faid highways. Cap. 10. To indemnify persons who have omitted to qualify themselves for imployments or offices, by taking the oaths, and making and fubfcribing the declaration against tranfubftantiation, and receiving the facrament, and to allow them further time for that purpose; and to enable the vice-chancellor of the univerfity, and mayor of the town of Cambridge, to act as juftices of the peace for the county of Cambridge, notwithstanding the act for

Cap. 11. For the application and difpofal of the refidue of the money raised by way of lottery, on the credit of an act made in the last feffion of parliament, for the relief of fuch fufferers in the charitable corporation, as are objects of compaffion, according to the descriptions therein mentioned. Cap. 12. For enabling his Majesty to apply the fum of one million two hundred thousand pounds out of the finking fund, for the service of the year one thousand seven hundred and thirty four; and for appropriating the fupplies granted in this feffion of parliament. Cap. 13. To enable his Majefty to continue and fettle an annuity of five thousand pounds on the princess royal during the term of her natural life, in cafe the fhall furvive his Majesty.

Cap. 14. For ascertaining the duties upon arrack, and for giving further time to clerks and apprentices to pay duties omitted to be paid for their indentures and contracts. Cap. 15. To settle how far owners of

fhips fhall be anfwerable for the acts of the masters or mariners. Cap. 16. For the better regulating the election of members to ferve in the houfe of commons, for that part of Great Britain called Scotland; and for incapacitating the judges of the court of feffion, court of jufticiary, and barons of the court of exchequer in Scotland, to be elected, or to fit or vote as members of the house of commons. To explain an act paffed in the last feffion of parliament, intituled, An act for the converting a further part of the capital stock of the South-Sea company into annuities redeemable by parliament, and for fettling the remaining part of the faid ftock in the faid company, fo far as the faid act relates to the paying

For the revival of an act made in the thirteenth year of the reign of his late majefty King George the First, intituled, An act for the free importation of cochineal during the time therein limited; and alfo for the free importation of indico. For the more effectual preventing the clandeftine importation of foreign hops into Great Britain and Ireland, and to prevent the adulterating or fophifticating of hops to alter the colour or scent thereof.
