This volume consists of the 1829 edition of "Illustrations ...Yorkshire Coast" bound in with the 1836 (only) edition of "Illustrations of the Geology of Yorkshire;..... .Part II, The Mountain Limestone District."

There is also a second edition of the first part, which becomes "Illustrations of the Geology of Yorkshire......Part I. The Yorkshire Coast......... Second Edition......1835. This was bound in with Part II and like it published by John Murray, London. This new edition contains a preface which lists certain material changes from the previous edition and the plates have been reengraved.
