INTRODUCTION

The FCC Rules and Regulations are divided into several parts, some of which are in loose-leaf format and others in pamphlet format. Each volume and pamphlet will be produced annually, or as required, and will be identical to Title 47 Code of Federal Regulations in terms of content. These may be purchased individually from the Superintendent of Documents. Replacement pages for the loose-leaf rules will be issued only when absolutely necessary and may be purchased as a separate publication. Volume I of the Federal Communications Commission's Rules and Regulations contains all the rules concerning Commission Organization; Practice and Procedure; and Employee Responsibilities and Conduct. This edition of the Rules includes all amendments through September 30, 1982. The texts of future amendments may be found in the Federal Register, which is published daily by the Office of the Federal Register. These two publications must be used together to determine the latest version of any given rule.
