Dunton calls this one of the finest journals of the kind the world has ever seen. Though not mentioned in the title, a great number of interesting and important notices of transactions in Asia, America, and the West Indies will be found. The above is a more complete set than any of which record can be traced, and completes the connection with the Gentleman's Magazine. The British Museum Copy, the most complete mentioned by Lowndes, has only 27 vols. and ends at the year 1716.
