LII. III. And to the end a good Order and Method may be observed Register and and kept in the said Office, touching all and every the said Entries, be appointed. Matters, and Things to be therein done, some able Person of good Discretion and Honesty shall be commissionated to be Register and Recorder in the said Register's Office, whose Fees shall be as followeth, (viz.) For entering every Parcel of Land, and the Title from whence Fe derived, he shall or may receive thirty Pounds of Tobacco or Sugar; for each Warrant to the Surveyor, he shall or may receive one Docket of Fees hund red Pounds of Sugar or Tobacco; for entering the Surveyor's see Act of 8th Return, he shall or may receive thirty Pounds of Sugar or Tobacco; for drawing a Deed of Sale and recording it, he shall or may receive 1. thirty Pounds of Sugar or Tobacco; for making a Lease and recording it, he shall or may receive fifty Pounds of Tobacco or Sugar; for drawing a Patent, he shall or may receive fifty Pounds of Tobacco or Sugar; for recording a Patent at large, he shall or may receive fifty Pounds of Tobacco or Sugar; for making a Deed of Mortgage and recording it, he shall or may receive one hundred Pounds of Tobacco or Sugar; for registering each Alienation, he may receive thirty Pounds of Tobacco or Sugar; and for that especial Care is taken in this Act, for the drawing and recording all Manner of Warrants, Thing and Things concerning Lands, their particular Grants, Mortgages, Leases, and Alienations.
