The lands of Lethenoth (described as three oxgangs, lying by the sea, between the church of Gamery and Troup), were given to the monks of Saint Mary of Kynloss in Murray, by Robert Corbet, probably in the reign of Saint David. The grant was confirmed by King Alexander II. in the year 1226. See above, p. 234. In the rental of
