NATURALIZATION CASE NO. 871-PSG.—In Re: Petition for Admission as Citizen of the Philippines,

Lee, Jinhee, Petitioner

ORDER

A Petition for Naturalization has been filed by the above-named petitioner through counsel praying that she be admitted as a citizen of the Philippines pursuant to Commonwealth Act No. 473 as amended alleging among other things that her full name is Lee, JINHEE, a South Korean citizen by birth being born in Seoul, South Korea on January 28, 1984 and has resided threat from birth to March 1992; that she is at present a citizen or subject of China; that she emigrated to the Philippines on June 02, 1996 from Seoul, South Korea, her last foreign residence; that she is single, has finished her college degree at the University of Asia and the Pacific, Philippines and at present a medical student at the UERMMC, Manila; that she is able to speak and write English, Korean and Tagalog; that she is at

present residing in No. 143 Goldloop Tower, Escriva Drive, Ortigas Center, Pasig City since March 2001; that before the said date, she resided at Champagne Village, Escriva Drive, Ortigas Center, Pasig City from December 1998 to March 2001, and from February 1997 to December 1998 at Delgado Street, San Antonio Village, Pasig City and from March 1992 to February 1997 at No. 101 B Landmark II, Kaimito Street, Valle Verde, Pasig City; that she filed her Declaration of Intention to become citizen of the Philippines on April 26, 2012 with the Office of the Solicitor General pursuant to Commonwealth Act 473 as amended; that she is a part time employee and a medical student from which she drived a lucrative income and from her income she was able to save money and deposited in the bank for which she can use it in the event of sudden unemployment; that she possesses a good moral character and believes in the principles underlying the Philippine constitution; that she conducted herself in a proper and irreproachable manner during the entire period of her residence in the Philippines in her relation with the constituted government as well as with the community in which she is living; that she mingled with Filipinos socially and have evinced a sincere desire to learn and the customs, traditions and ideals of the Filipino people; that she has not been convicted of a crime involving moral turpitude and is not suffering from any incurable or contagious disease or from mental alienation; that she is not opposed to organized government or affiliated with any association or group of persons who uphold and teach doctrines opposing all organized governments, that she is not defending or teaching the necessity or propriety of violence, personal assault or assassination for the success or predominance of men's ideas, that she is not a polygamist or believer in the practice of polygamy; that the nation of which she is a citizen is not at war with the Philippines; that she possesses all the qualifications required under Section 2 and none of the disqualifications provided under Section 4 of Commonwealth Act 473, as amended; that it is her intention in good faith to become a citizen of the Philippines and to renounce absolutely and forever all allegiance and fidelity to any foreign prince, potentate, state or sovereignty, and particularly to China of which at present she is a citizen or subject; that she will reside in the Philippines from the time of the filing of this petitioner up to the time of her admission as citizen of the Philippines.

In support of her petition are the photographs of petitioner and pertinent documents, to wit:

1. Declaration of Intention;

2. Alien Certificate of Registration;

3. Joint Affidavit of Character Witnesses.

Petitioner proposes to introduce two (2) witnesses to appear and testify as to her character and integrity namely: Vanessa Jane Lopez Raymundo, resident of 4 a Maryland Vilalge, J.P. Rizal St., Damayan, Mandaluyong City and Dr. Teresita Agana, of St. Paul College, Pasig St. Paul Road, Meralco Avenue, Brgy. Ugong, Pasig City.

Let this petitioner be heard by this Court sitting at the 5th Floor, Bulwagan ng Katarungan Building, City Hall Compound, Pasig City on April 25, 2014 at 8:30 o'clock in the morning at which place, date and time aforesaid, any interested party is hereby cited to appear and show cause, if any, as to why said petition should not be granted.

Let therefore a copy of this Order, petition and its annexes including petitioner's photograph be published in toto at the expense of petitioner once a week for three (3) consecutive weeks, in the Official Gazette and in a newspaper of general

circulation in Pasig City where the petitioner resides and that the last publication shall be at least six (6) months before the scheduled hearing and that the same be posted in a conspicuous place in the Office of the Clerk of Court of this Court and in the Bulletin Board of the City Hall of Pasig City. The general notice of hearing shall set forth the name, birthplace and residence of petitioner, place and date of her arrival in the Philippines, the names of the witnesses whom the petitioner proposes to introduce in support of the petition and the date of hearing of the petition.

Let another copy of this Order with a copy of the petition and its annexes be served at the Office of the Solicitor General at 134 Amorsolo St., Legaspi Village, Makati City, Office of the Public Attorney's Office and the Office of the City Prosecutor, Pasig City.

My present place of residence is at No. 143 Goldloop Tower, Escriva Drive, Ortigas Center, Pasig City, where I resided since March 2001 to the present, and before said date, I resided at Champagne Village, Escriva Drive, Ortigas Center, Pasig City, from December 1998 to March 2001, and from February 1997 to December 1998, at Delgado St., San Antonio Village, Pasig City, and from March 1992 to February 1997, at No. 101B Landmark II, Kaimito St., Valle Verde, Pasig City, and from birth to March 1992, in Seoul, South Korea;

3. I am a part time employee and a medical student from which I derived a lucrative income and from my income, I was able to save money and deposited it in the bank which I can use in the event of sudden unemployment;

4. I was born on January 28, 1984 in Seoul, South Korea; I am at present a citizen or subject of South Korea under whose laws Filipinos may become naturalized citizens or subjects thereof;

5. I am single; I finished my college degree at the University of Asia and the Pacific, Philippines and I am a medical student at the UERMMC, Manila;

11. Vanessa Jane Lopez Raymundo of legal age, Filipino and residing at 49 Maryland Village, J.P. Rizal St., Namayan, Mandaluyong City and Dr. Teresita Agana of legal age, Filipino and with postal address at St. Paul College Pasig, St. Paul Dr., Ortigas Center, Pasig City, will appear and testify as my character witnesses at the hearing of my petition;

12. Attached hereto are copies of my Declaration of Intention and Alien Certificate of Registration.

WHEREFORE, petitioner respectfully prays that, after hearing, she be admitted as a citizen of the Philippines.
