THE AMERICAN BOARD will hold its Annual Meeting at Norwich, Conn., on TUESDAY, Oct. 6, 1868, commencing at 3 o'clock, P. M., and continuing three days. THE COMMITTEE OF ARRANGEMENTS respectfully and earnestly request the Corporate Members, returned Missionaries, Representatives of the Press, Honorary Members, Ministers of the Gospel, etc., who expect to be present, to give immediate notice to the Chairman, of such intention, and they will receive, in return, official notice of their provided entertainment, and a card of hospitality will be delivered to them on their arrival here. The Committee, however, can pledge such accommodations to none who do not apply on or before the fifth of September. And as their means are necessarily somewhat limited, they must positively announce that none need expect entertainment who have not received notice that places have been assigned them. They invite the people of God who come to this convocation of the friends of Missions to bring with them such a spirit of prayer and consecration that will make every house where they lodge a Bethel, and our accommodations seem like the house of Levi. The Committee will promise every one a cordial welcome, and trust that all will find that there is room, "bread enough and to spare." REV. M. M. G. DANA, Chairman. RECEIVING AGENTS OF THE BOARD.
