CAP. LXIX.

An alt for repairing and widening the roads from the fouth end of Newton Abbott to the paffage way in Kinfwear, oppofite Clifton Dartmouth Hartnefs, and from the end of a lane leading out of the turnpike road between Newton Abbott and Totnes, towards Abbotts Kerfwell, to Five Lanes; and from Langvers Barn to the faid turnpike road, between Newton Abbott and Totnes; and from Galmpton Warborough to Monks Bridge and Brixham Quay; and from Langvers Barn to the north end Paington town, all in the county of Devon.

An act for repairing and widening the roads from Keyberry Bridge to the paffage at Shalldon; and from the faid bridge to the pier or harbour of Torkey, in the county of Devon.

CAP. LXXI.

An alt for repairing and widening the road from Tonbridge to Maidstone, and from Watt's Cross to Cowden, in the county of Kent.

CAP. LXXII.

An alt for amending and widening the road from the fign of the Coach and Horfes in Birftol, to the turnpike road at Nunbrook, and from Bradley Lane to the town of Huddersfield, in the weft riding of the county of York.

Grimsby Haven, at or near a place called the Upper Sand End, to Wold Newton Church; and from Nuns Farm to the Mill Field, in the parish of Irby, in the county of Lincoln.

CAP. LXXIV.

An alt for enlarging the powers of feveral acts for repairing the road from Stump Crofs to Newmarket Heath and the town of Cambridge, and from Foulmire to Cambridge, and other roads adjoining thereto, fo far as the fame relate to the road from Foulmire to Cambridge, and the faid other roads adjoining thereto.

CAP. LXXV.

An act for enlarging the term and powers of fo much of an alt made in the twenty feventh year of the reign of his late Ma jefty, for repairing feveral roads in the counties of Dorset and Devon, as relates to the road from Penn Inn, in the county of Dorset, to the work-boufe at the east end of the town of Honiton, in the county of Devon, and to the road from the intrenchment on Afkerwell Hill to Penn Inn, and from Bridport to Beamifter; and for repairing and amending feveral other roads therein mentioned in the counties of Dorfet and Devon.

An act for repairing, widening, and keeping in repair, feveral roads, leading from Kidwelly, in the county of Carmarthen; and alfo feveral roads leading from Llan dilo, in the faid county.

CAP. LXXVII.

Au alt for enlarging the terms and powers of several alls of the ninth and twelfth years of Queen Anne, and of the thirteenth of King George the First, and of the fourteenth of his late Majesty, for repairing the highways leading from Royston, in the county of Hertford to Wandsford Bridge, in the county of Huntingdon, fo far as relates to the middle and fouth divifions of the road comprized in the faid atts; and for amending the road from the town of Huntingdon to the causeway at or near the weft end of the town of Somerfham, in the faid county of Huntingdōn.

An act for repairing, widening, and keeping in repair, the

road from Welford Bridge, in the county of Northampton, through Husband's Bofworth and Great Wigston, te Milfton Lane, in the town of Leicester.

CAP. LXXIX.

An act to continue the term, and alter and enlarge the powers of an act paffed in the third year of his prefent Majefty, for repairing, widening, turning and keeping in repair, the road from the town of Cambridge to Ely, and from thence to Soham; and for building a bridge cross the river Ouze, at or near a place called Stretham Ferry, in the county of Cambridge; and for repairing and widening, and making feveral other roads, adjoining to the roads directed to be repaired and widened by the faid act.

CAP. LXXX.

An act for continuing the terms of feveral acts, and for giving further powers for repairing the road leading from Chapel on the heath, in the county of Oxford, to Bourton on the Hill, in the county of Gloucefter.

CAP. LXXXI.

An alt for cleanfing and lighting the streets, lanes, and pajfages, within the towns of Manchester and Salford, in the county palatine of Lancaster; and for providing fire engines and fire-men; and for preventing annoyances within the faid towns.

CAP. LXXXII.

An act to enlarge certain powers granted by an act passed in the twenty fecond year of the reign of King George the Second, intituled, An act for enlarging and maintaining the harbour of Ramfgate, and for cleansing, amending and preferving the haven of Sandwich.

CAP. LXXXIII.

An act for amending the road from Chatteris Ferry, through Chatteris and Marth, to Wifbech Saint Peter's; and from thence to Tid Gote in the Ifle of Ely; and from Wifbech aforefaid, through Outwell, to Downham Bridge in the county of Norfolk; and for repealing the feveral acts for repairing the faid road between Wilbech and Marfh.

An act for repairing and widening the road from Newcastle under Line to Haffop; and from Middle Hills to the L12

Macclesfield turnpike road, near Buxton; and also the road branching out of the faid first mentioned road at Cobridge, to Burflem; and to the Uttoxeter turnpike at Shelton, in the county of Stafford.

CA P. LXXXV.

An alt for repairing and widening the roads from Bawtry Bridge, in the county of Nottingham, to Hainton, in the county of Lincoln; and from North Willingham to the north end of the lane betwixt Dexthorpe 'and Langton, and from Weft Raifin to Pilford Bridge and from the great road near Bishop Bridge to Bishop Norton Common; and from the hamlet of Morton to Epworth; and from Haxey Field, to the Trent at Kinnald Ferry, in the county of Lincoln.

CAP. LXXXVI.

An act for enlarging the term and powers of an act made in the twenty fifth year of the reign of his late Majefty, for repairing the high road from the town of Shrewsbury through Creffage, Harley, Much Wenlock, by Muckley Crofs, and through Morville, to Bridgenorth, in the county of Salop, and for amending feveral other roads near or adjoining thereto.

CAP. LXXXVII.

An act to amend feveral acts paffed in the fourth and fixth years of King George the First, and in the eleventh and twenty fourth years of King George the Second, for repairing feveral roads from the Stone's End in Kent Street, and Bermondsey Street, Southwark, to Dartford, and to the extent of the parish of Lewisham, next Bromley and Beckenham, in the county of Kent; and for extending the faid alts to the repair of the roads leading from the end of the prefent turnpike to the west end of Stroud Green, and to Farnborough Well, and to the Stone's End in London Street, Greenwich, and to the north end of Burnt Ash Lane, in the parish of Lee, and from the west end of Greenwich Park Wall to Woolwich Warren; and for making an allowance out of the tolls arifing by the said alts to the trustees for putting in execution an act of the twenty Second year of King George the Second, for opening and making a new road from the east end of New Street, in the parish of Saint John, Southwark, to and through the feveral places therein mentioned; and for keeping the faid road in repair for the future.

An act for repairing and widening the road from Barton Waterfidehouse, to Rifeham Hedge Corner, and feveral other roads in the county of Lincoln, therein mentioned.

An act for the building a bridge over the river Tay, at or near the town of Perth, in the county of Perth.

CAP. XC.

An alt for repairing and widening the road from the Alfreton turnpike road, near a place called Little Robbins, in the parish of Mansfield, in the county of Nottingham, through Woolley Moor, to the Nottingham turnpike road, near Tanfley, in the county of Derby, and from Woolley Moor, to the Chesterfield turnpike road at Kelstidge, in the county of Derby.

CAP. XCI.

An act for vefting certain glebe lands, belonging to the rectory of the parish church of Saint Chriftopher, in the city of London, in the governor and company of the bank of England; and for making a recompence to the relor of the faid parish, and bis fucceffors, in lieu thereof; and for obviating certain doubts in an act passed in the thirty third year of the reign of his late Majefty, for widening certain fireets, lanes, and paffages, within the city of London.

An act for explaining and amending, and likewife for enlarging the term and powers granted by a certain act of parliament, paffed in the twenty fifth year of the reign of his late majefty King George the Second, intituled, An act for amending several roads leading from the town of Taunton, in the county of Somerfet.
